TOUR OVERVIEW

Day 1: Paro

  • Arrive at Paro International Airport.
  • Visit the National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong) for an overview of Bhutan’s history and culture.
  • Explore Rinpung Dzong, a majestic fortress-monastery.
  • Overnight stay in Paro.
  • Paro Hotel

Day 2: Paro to Thimphu

  • Hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang Lhakhang). This hike takes about 4-5 hours round trip.
  • Drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.
  • Visit Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the Bhutanese government.
  • Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu

  • Explore the Buddha Dordenma statue for panoramic views of Thimphu valley.
  • Visit the National Memorial Chorten, a prominent Buddhist stupa.
